Bad Weather Policy - We follow the Cumberland Valley School District. When Cumberland Valley schools are canceled, the WSAMA will also be closed. In the event CV's school closings are premature, we may consider still having classes.

Orders are now being taken for WSAMA's navy blue sweatshirts (available in crew neck and hoods) and T-Shirts. Call or come to the office to place your orders. Samples are hanging by the office window. If your orders are placed by Friday December 4th, your orders are guaranteed to arrive by Christmas morning!!

ADULTS CLASS PROMOTIONS
WSAMA's Adults Class Promotions are scheduled for Saturday December 5th. The Black Belt Promotion will start 8am. The Color Belt Promotion will start @ 10am. All promotion forms and paperwork should be submitted by Wednesday December 2nd. Reminder: testing students should be in full uniform (i.e. gi jacket and pants with all patches and lettering).

NIGHT CLASS SCHEDULE
In order for our students and parents to enjoy Trick-or-Treat night on Thursday October 29th, there will only be one (1) Children's Open Class at 4:15pm. Also, there will be the 10:10am and 4:15pm Adults Class. There will be NO 5:10pm, 6:10pm and 7:10pm classes. Have fun and stay safe!

WSAMA Spitfire Demo Team to perform at Pennsboro Pumpkin Fest Saturday Oct. 10th @ 12pm. Children's Class Beginner Students are invited to perform a short demo as a warm-up act for Spitfire (please come 15 minutes before show time, 11:45am, so we can organize your part). BREATH OF NATURE KARATE TOURNAMENT
CITY ISLAND (Sept 5) Congratulations to Team Lion's Pride in participating in their last official tournament of the 2009 season. This was the most participated tournament where 25 Team Lion's Pride athletes earned 66 trophies including: "18" 1st Places, "28" 2nd Places, "11" 3rd Places, and a Grand Championship trophy won by Clay Hazam! CAPITOL CLASSICS 
ARLINGTON, VA (Aug 7-9) Congratulations to Team Lion's Pride in participating in the premiere tournament circuit in the country (North American Sport Karate Association, a.k.a. NASKA), and competing against, literally, the best competitors in the world. Despite overwhelming odds, our delegation of athletes had respectable showings. "Finalists" (the top 8 in each event) were awarded plaques in a field where divisions numbered as many as 35+ competitors. Click here for detailed results.

LEWISBERRY (July 14) WSAMA's Teams Spitfire, Sparks and Lion's Pride combined forces performing a demonstration for the girls of Red Land's Cheerleading Camp. Our teams showed how cooperation and hard work can produce performers and competitors, regardless of their athletic endeavor. You can see our Teams perform together again in the upcoming InfernoFest IV in September!

WSAMA'S ANNUAL SUMMER PICNIC
WSAMA's annual Summer Picnic has been rescheduled to Saturday July 11th from 4:30 to 8:30pm (6/20/09 date was postponed due to bad weather) at Seibert Memorial Park in Camp Hill off Bypass on Route 15 (Click here for park info). Sign up poster is up at the dojang. As always, the use of the park's facilities including pool, basketball courts, etc. will be available to our students, friends and family. ANNUAL SAM'S BUTTERFLY RUN
This 5K Run and 1-Mile Fun Walk will be on Sunday May 17, 2009 at the Northern High School Complex. The proceeds will go to the Sam Mizrahi Memorial Fund which will award a scholarship to a Northern Senior. Forms can be obtained at WSAMA's office or by contacting Nikki Mizrahi @ 100 Fairway Dr., Dillsburg, PA 17019.

The Chambersburg Academy of Martial Arts (CAMA) has an Adults Class promotion scheduled for Saturday March 21 for those who may have missed WSAMA's promotion on March 14.
There will be a Weapons Class on March 28th 9am, followed by a Weapons Disarm class at 10am (adults only).

CLASS NOW FORMING
